Palermo set for a complete upfront change

With lots of offers for Cavani and Miccoli set to reinforce the good-working Birmingham, Palermo management moved briskly on the transfer market. 

It will be once again a young and an older striker that will make the upfront couple in their formation, but this time both will be towering. Massimo Maccarone is ready to sign a contract that will keep him at Palermo for three years. His partner is less famous, but did a great job when Grosseto finished 6th in the last Serie B season - 24 goals in 24 matches. Mauricio Pinilla has just signed a four-year contract with the club Rossa.
