Wigan Ready To Bid For Jakob Poulsen

The Danish midfielder was part of the national team in the World Cup. Now the Red Dynamite has finished with the campaign, Poulsen is on the move as his current squad AGF Aarhus relegated into Viasat Division - the second highest in Denmark. The skipper had previous experience abroad with Heerenveen, but returned in 2008 in his home country. 

Wigan will need to battle the competition of other European sides for the signature of the player - with Cologne and PSG the more pushing. Jakob Poulsen was one the verge of joining Lazio in the winter transfer window, but he rejected the move only to see a disastrous spring season of his current side AGF.
