Alexander Gerndt Could Leave Gefle For The Netherlands

The 23-year-old striker had a remarkably good start of the season - he has netted 8 goals in 14 matches. And this has not gone unnoticed by some larger club. There are rumors that people from the Netherlands have flown to see the young forward in action, and according to Gefle news agency AZ Alkmaar is the team that is interested. 

The Eredivisie side has almost gone bankrupt last season and is thus forced to sell its most valuable players and search for cheaper replacements. There are also two other Swedes playing at Alkmaar Pontus Wernbloom and Rasmus Elm, so such a transfer seems much probable.
