Alberto Cavasin is the new Bellinzona trainer

The 53-year-old takes over the club until the end of the season.He succeeded Schällibaum, who was on first of November sacked, immediately after the 0-5 defeat to St Gallen.

The former Serie A player Cavasin, who has worked exclusively since 1990 in Italy as a coach in teams like Fiorenzuola, Gualdo, Ravenna  have his most successful years at Lecce (99-2002). On 8 October he was discharged at the second division club Brescia.

Bellinzona are  currently at  Barrage-place with eight points behind Zurich. However, they are still 5 points ahead Aarau, which are in the relegation zone.
