YB extended the contract of Vladimir Petkovic

The 46-year-old Croatian has signed a new contract which will keep him till 2013. Petkovic is with the club since the 2008/09 season when he succeeded Martin Andermatt. In the current season YB are in the lead with seven points ahead of FC Basel. 

Petkovic's record with YB in the Swiss Super League is impressive: In 49 games, he has been defeated only seven times with 34 wins and 8 draws. 

Prior to his appointment in Bern Petkovic had worked for AC Bellinzona in 2008 and managed to promote the team in the Swiss Super League.
