Birmingham City brings in a new midfielder

Birmingham has started to invest the cash of Carlos Yeung. The first acquisition for this year is the 24-year-old midfielder Michel from the Spanish side Sporting Gijon. The transfer sum is said to be J3m. It is doubtful all the paperwork to be done by Saturday, so the Spaniard will not be able to participate in the group against Man United. 

Michel has been regular for his previous team, participating in appearing 13 times so far this season, and total of 138 times for Sporting Gijon.
