Auxerre lost 0:2 to Monaco away from home. Former Auxerre striker Daniel Niculae opened the score, but it was more thanks to Auxerre goalkeeper Sorin who should do better in this situation. Then, after a fast counter attack and dynamic of Mbokani Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored second goal in this match and his second goal in this season. In whole 2009/2010 season he scored only twice for Lille, now at Monaco he already scored twice. Similar case is Niculae - in last season only 4 goals for Auxerre, now already 2 goals for Monaco. Auxerre loves small midfielder, now they bought 24 years old Frédéric Sammaritano from Vannes. He is a much smaller even than Pedretti, but as we all know small player can play great. He was a really big star in Ligue 2, but if Auxerre spend 500 000 euro for him they surely must seen something in this player. I'm dying to know if they were right. There are no any new injury worries, but coach could rest his best players like Jelen or Birsa, because they were busy during the International break. Maybe they will start on the bench or came off in second half. 
Caen showed that they are poor when are big favorites. They lost 0:2 to Brest at home. Brest was clearly better side. Caen had only a couple of chances after counter attacks. They allowed Brest to create many chances to score and Micola could score a couple of goals for Brest long before the first goal was scored. Very important offensive midfielder Sambou Yatabare (goal against Lyon, assist against Lyon and Marseille) is suspended, regular left fullback Inez is also suspended. Experienced midfielder Nivet is still injured, the same like defender Leca who is on long term injury list. Universal midfielder Yohan Mollo is out for the first time in this season.
Prediction: Auxerre could finally win as Caen is without key players and without this fire from start of the season, but Fernandes must use his best XI, if he will be more focused on Champions League game he could not win this one. Bet on home side, but only if Jelen and Birsa will be in first XI.
