Collins fails to agree Stoke move because of personal terms
James Collins' move to Stoke City has fallen through due to wage demands. Stoke had a bid of 3m - which could have accumulated to 5m - and was accepted by West Ham United.
"We just couldn't come to an agreement," Collins' agent Cyrille Regis told BBC Sport. "So at the moment the deal is dead." Collins has spent four seasons at Upton Park, although he participated only in 49 league starts for the Hammers.
Meanwhile, Pulis has made it clear he wants Ryan Shawcross to remain at the Britannia Stadium. The 21-year-old defender is heavily linked with a move to Manchester United, Liverpool or Tottenham Hotspur.
