Portsmouth have signed Michael Brown from Wigan, Kevin-Prince Boateng from Tottenham with Aruna Dindane arriving on a season-long loan from Lens.

Midfielder Boateng joined Spurs for 5.4m pounds in 2007, but made only 10 starts and has cost Pompey about 4m.

Experienced midfielder Brown had found himself out of favour under new Latics boss Roberto Martinez and has arrived for a nominal fee.

Striker Dindane, 28, may sign a longer deal at the end of the season.

In a busy day for the south coast side, manager Paul Hart has targeted Spurs' Jamie O'Hara on loan and had a bid rejected for Sunderland's Nyron Nosworthy for a fee of about 4m.
