Basel defeated by Freiburg

FC Basel lost the friendly game against  the current Bundesliga twelve SC Freiburg 2:3. The defeat of the FCB was logical as coach Thorsten Fink had 11 players unavailable due to international call duties.

In contrast, Freiburg coach Dutt could use his entire squad with only two exceptions - South Korean national teams Cha and the German Under-21 international Felix Bastians.
