Magath with two new acquisitions

FC Schalke 04 are fast on their transfers. On Tuesday, at Gelsenkirchen announced that Mainz 05 midfielder Tim Hoogland  will join the team on a free transfer at the end of the season. Right after that there was confirmation about the purchase of Macedonian player Besart Ibraimi. The 23-year-old striker comes from FK Renova and signed a contract until 2013. The 1.82 high attacker struck in the past season 13 times in 26 games and this season he had eight goals in ten matches. Coach Felix Magath said on the S04 website "He will bring us a lot of joy, but he is a perspective commitment".

With these two new acquisitions, the total number of new players signed in the winer brake grow to 7. However the bettors should be familiar that the new players are more than long shots as the financial situation at Gelsenkirchen didn't allowed Magath to bring quality additions to his squad.
