Espanyol is threaten by a six points penalty

FIFA may sanction withdrawal of six points from Espanyol  in the La Liga because of unpaid bills. According to L'Equipe the Spanish team will be banned as they owe half million euros to Bordeaux for the transfer of Albert Rieara who currently is at Liverpool.

Espanyol have to settle the debt with the Girondins until the end of next week, otherwise FIFA will execute the penalty. But Bordeaux is not the only team who claim money from them. Monaco also is looking for 700,000 euros for the deal of Nene last season.
